Ipad in the Field (Literally)

March 18, 2012

New Jersey FFA had the pleasure of hosting National FFA Secretary, Jason Troendle, and share with him the three components of agricultural education – classroom instruction, supervised agricultural experience (SAE), and FFA – by visiting various programs around the state. How was the Ipad integral in helping this experience take place at my school?

1. While I was out of town, I used Office 2 HD to answer questions about the visit the New Jersey FFA Specialist needed in a Word form she provided. There has to be an easier way for what happened next though. I couldn’t figure out how to e-mail the document from Office 2 HD, so I had to upload it as a google doc then share from there. Anyone have a solution on this one.

2. Take a close look at this picture. Do you notice the Ipad in the hands of an FFA member documenting the SAE visit? I look forward to seeing the programs installed on the Ipad help turn those pictures into a presentation of some sort.
